Your Identity in Christ
Through Christ, I am a receiver of the Holy Spirit,
who counsels me in the ways of God.
Pondering Point
Pause for a moment to picture yourself as a receiver of gifts, or in this situation a receiver of the specific gift known as the Holy Spirit.
With the Holy Spirit comes so many other gifts. It is easy to seek gifts from the Giver rather than the Giver Himself. Instead think of receiving your desired gift with the Giver.
Even when we don't know what we need, the Holy Spirit can pray for and provide what we are looking for without us being aware of it.

- Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees,

Mark the words or phrases that catch your attention.
Meditate: talk (or better, write) with God about those words. Ask him to impress things upon your heart and mind; expect responses.
