Call to Gather, Pray and Worship God
Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Yes Lord, bless us to us to do Your will and work in us whatever pleases you! I pray this for myself and… (yes, who else?)
Prayer for the Month
Father God, bless us to become the servant-disciples You desire us to be in the world, in our communities, in our churches, and in our homes. In the name of Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve, Amen.
Dear Lord, may I realize afresh today what Your death and
resurrection mean for me, for others: Forgiveness, freedom, and the ability to walk with You through this fallen world into eternity. May I always find my satisfaction in You and Your humbling willingness to offer Yourself to me. In Jesus' name. Amen.
