Call to Worship God, to Gather Together
Thoughts on Jesus’ coming: Jesus came as the Truth of God. Keep that in mind as you ponder these two statements He made:
John 18:37
“You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
John 8:31-32
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Prayer Prompt
Jesus, you are True God and True Man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary – and my Lord. Teach me your teaching, show me your Truth, lead me in the way of life everlasting. Amen.
