Wellspring of Joy
John 17:24
Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
~ Jesus
Pondering Point
Wednesdays in IMMERSION are about finding joy over our situation with God. The concept of joy this week is that Jesus wants you to be with Him in His heavenly home.
He wants you to see His glory there, a glory that has been His since the beginning of the world. Nearly all of that glory was hidden when Jesus took on humanity; we’re talking about angels-bow-before-Him type of glory, the kind reserved for God himself.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I love this prayer that lets me see into your heart. What joy it brings to my heart to know that You want me to be with You, to ponder what lengths You would go to so that I could be with You. I so look forward to seeing You in Your glory, the glory that You had before the creation of this whole world. Till then keep me -- no, keep us all in Your grace. Amen.
