We are into the last week of chewing on the one another commands of Scripture for Immersed-in-Jesus. Now we pull them out of the church-worship setting (liturgy) and into the life-worship setting (daily living). We will deal with one couplet per day, which is probably more than enough. Each area is being coupled with an action from a 14-day challenge to love one another found by one of our members (Thank you Tracy!)
Stop passing judgment on one another.
Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
See a situation through the other person’s eyes.
Encourage one another and build each other up.
Encourage one another daily.
Offer up a genuine compliment.
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.
[bear] with one another in love.
Forgive somebody who has wronged you.
Live in peace with each other.
Live in harmony with one another.
Say “thank you” to somebody.
Instruct one another.
Admonish one another.
Show patience with someone.
Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other.
See everybody you talk to through God’s eyes.
Carry each other's burdens.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Give 10 minutes to really listen to someone.
Lord, [insert your prayer here]
Amen.
